Snow Report – Monday, January 30, 2023

5:00am Update: Happy Monday! WOW – it’s been an amazing stretch of snow and good times here on the mountain, and if you have not yet made it up, today is your day! The powder days continue here today with another inch of snow overnight, 5″ over the past 24 hours and 11″ over the past 48 hours….the recent storm brought nearly 2 FEET of freshies since last Thursday through this morning….enjoy.

Forecasts today predict a slight chance of a light snow, and then peeks of sunshine as the day unfolds with a high around 8. Grab the crew, an extra layer and the big boards as we are in an absolutely awesome stretch of winter, and snow conditions are amazing! We will be grooming a few select trails over the next few hours (please check the Trails Report, via link below, for a full report on grooming around 8am), but you can certainly expect much untouched powder & stashes throughout the entire mountain.

Most roads around the region are reported open and in pretty good shape. Currently, there continues to be some road limitations/closures over on I-80 around Cheyenne, yet there are alternative routes available for travelers making their way to and from the ski area. Please check your travel routes, give yourself a little extra time and take it easy out there. For road conditions and updates, please visit the WYDOT website, or call 1-888-996-7623.

The ski area is officially 100% open with all slopes and terrain parks available. Please remember to SMART STYLE all activities in the parks and utilize YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODE throughout the slopes. Please visit the Trails Report page for a list of our available lifts and terrain as well as daily grooming updates.

ADVANCED, ON-LINE TICKET & RENTAL EQUIPMENT RESERVATIONS – Please note as we look forward to additional upcoming weekends, we do anticipate many guests visiting the mountain and many of those guests will be renting equipment. For those needing ski or snowboard rental equipment, please make certain to make those online rental equipment reservations as quickly as possible to ensure you have equipment reserved for your snow day. Due to heavy volumes, we cannot guarantee to have your exact or desired size of boots, skis or boards without a reservation. If you do not have a rental reservation here at the ski area, please plan to arrive as early as possible in the day to obtain rental gear. Again — Advanced, On-Line Rental & Ticket Reservations are Always Highly Encouraged & Recommended, and thank you for your understanding on this matter.

We will see you on the slopes soon!
