4:30pm Update: Since this morning’s report, we have received another 4+ inches of the fluffies…and still falling. A wonderful powder day indeed! Forecasts project another 1″-3″ possible here tonight and another 1″-3″ tomorrow. So grab your gear, an extra layer and the crew…make sure to check road conditions in the morning, and certainly hope to see you on the slopes for a spectacular Powder Saturday here tomorrow!!
5:00am Update: Good Morning Fellow Snowy Enthusiasts, and here’s the snow report for Friday the 26th. Another 3″ of snow overnight, plus the 2″ received yesterday and 2″ on Wednesday….brings us to 7″ of freshies over these past three days. The snow is still currently falling here on the mountain, and this winter system continues over the next many days with significant snow chances, and probable double-digit snow totals as we work our way through the weekend and into early next week.
Forecasts project cold and snowy here these next few days with today predicted to be windy with off and on snow showers becoming a steady snow for the afternoon. The high today should top out around 22, and snow accumulations in the 1″-3″ range. We are currently making some laps here in the snow cats and will have an update on groomed trails here by 8am, so check the trails report for those details here soon…but we will have a nice mix of groomed trails along with many untouched freshies.
Currently, there are some road limitations over on I-80, so please check your travel routes before heading out this morning. Highway 130 coming up to the ski area is open for local traffic, and please note that Snowy Range IS local traffic. Take it easy and be safe out there on the travels today. For road conditions and updates, please visit the WYDOT website, or call 1-888-996-7623.
We are in an absolutely awesome stretch of winter and snow conditions are excellent….you don’t want to miss these upcoming snow days – so grab the crew, make those online reservations, travel safely and head on up top.
