5am Update: We have most definitely been blessed these past couple of weeks with an absolutely awesome stretch of snowfall…over 2 FEET since Christmas! There are some flakes falling here this morning with another couple of inches possible throughout the day. The ski area is officially 100% open with all slopes available, plus both terrain parks are readied. Please remember to SMART STYLE all activities in the parks and utilize YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODE throughout the slopes. Please visit the Trails Report page for a list of our available terrain.
Forecasts today project snow flurries/showers throughout the day with potential accumulations of 1″-2″, or perhaps even more depending on how this system rolls through…highs today are expected to be in the mid/upper 20s. All roads around the region and into the ski area are open. The weekend is shaping up quite nicely with day-time temps in the mid to upper 20s and mostly sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday. The good times shall continue, so hopes are you can join us soon.
We are proud to partner with the Laramie High School Alpine Race Team for this year’s event. Some of the finest young racers throughout the state will be onsite today and Saturday as competitions in slalom and giant slalom take place over on Sundance. We welcome all racers and wish everyone the best of luck, and safe efforts this weekend.
Grab your crew, make your online reservations and as always, travel safely out there. We most certainly thank our many passholders and guests for the kind words and compliments here throughout the season. Our goal is always for every day to be the most awesome snow day possible, and our staff is committed to do their part in that mission.
Thank you all for your continued support of Snowy Range Ski Area, and we will see you on the slopes.
