9:30am Update: We’ve received another couple inches of snow since our morning update, bringing us to 5″ of freshies on the mountain. Please note that HWY 130 is OPEN for local traffic only…Snowy Range Ski Area is considered local traffic. Travel safely, and come on up and enjoy the powder day!
4:30am Update: Happy New Year, and what a way to start out 2023….another 3″ of fresh snow here this morning brings our 36 hour snowfall total to a solid 11″ and more flakes are expected to fall throughout the day. Forecasts predict snow this morning transitioning to snow showers this afternoon with a high near 32. Chance of snow is 90% with another 1-3″ of accumulation expected. There is snow in the forecasts again this evening as well as on Monday with potential snow totals in the 4″-8″ range tonight through tomorrow afternoon. Stay tuned, but certainly have some super nice POWDER DAYS here to bring in 2023!
Following this most recent round of snowfall, the ski area is officially 100% open with all slopes now available, plus both terrain parks are readied.
