5:00pm Update: Another 4″ of snow here throughout the day, brings us to nearly 2 FEET over the past 3 days! Still snowing here on the mountain with another 1″-2″ of accumulation possible by tomorrow morning! See you for a Powder Monday tomorrow!!
5:00am Update: Sunday Funday is ON!
We received another inch of snow overnight which brings our snowfall totals to 4″ over the past 24 hours and 13″ over the past 48 hours — and, almost a FOOT and a HALF over the last five days. Currently, we have some light flurries falling this morning, and most forecasts project snow showers throughout much of the day with potential accumulations in the 3″-5″ range plus another 1″-3″ tonight into Monday morning. Temps are expected to top out around 12 degrees, so we truly have a cold and snowy day here at The Range. Grab your crew, an extra layer and the big boards as we are in an absolutely awesome stretch of winter, and snow conditions are amazing! We will be grooming select trails over the next few hours (please check the Trails Report, via link below, for a full report on grooming around 8am), but you can certainly expect much untouched powder & stashes throughout the entire mountain.
Currently, all roads around the region are reported open. There may be some road limitations/closures over on I-80 around Cheyenne later in the day, yet we also anticipate there to be alternative routes for all travelers making their way to and from the ski area today. Please check your travel routes, and take it easy out there. For road conditions and updates, please visit the WYDOT website, or call 1-888-996-7623.
The ski area is officially 100% open with all slopes and terrain parks available. Please remember to SMART STYLE all activities in the parks and utilize YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODE throughout the slopes. Please visit the Trails Report page for a list of our available lifts and terrain as well as daily grooming updates.
ADVANCED, ON-LINE TICKET & RENTAL EQUIPMENT RESERVATIONS – Please note as we look forward to additional upcoming weekends, we do anticipate many guests visiting the mountain and many of those guests will be renting equipment. For those needing ski or snowboard rental equipment, please make certain to make those online rental equipment reservations as quickly as possible to ensure you have equipment reserved for your snow day. Due to heavy volumes, we cannot guarantee to have your exact or desired size of boots, skis or boards without a reservation. If you do not have a rental reservation here at the ski area, please plan to arrive as early as possible in the day to obtain rental gear. Again — Advanced, On-Line Rental & Ticket Reservations are Always Highly Encouraged & Recommended, and thank you for your understanding on this matter.
We will see you on the slopes soon!
