5am Update: Hello Fellow Snowy Enthusiasts, and Happy Tuesday. We had an amazing holiday weekend here at the ski area, and thank everyone for coming out to enjoy the snow fun. The skiing and riding were quite nice, and we appreciate the many compliments from our guests and season passholders.
We had a few flurries overnight and currently light snow is falling. Forecasts project partly cloudy skies this morning giving away to mostly cloudy skies with snow showers developing during this afternoon. The high today is expected around 28. Most predict an inch of snow this afternoon with the heavier snow this evening and potential accumulations in the 3″-5″ range by Wednesday morning. Don’t forget to do a little snow dance out there….but definitely looks like a powder day might be in the mix tomorrow!
The ski area is officially 100% open with all slopes and terrain parks available. Please remember to SMART STYLE all activities in the parks and utilize YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODE throughout the slopes. Please visit the Trails Report page for a list of our available terrain. With nearly 10″ of snow over these past 10 days, 3 FEET since Christmas and a snowy week ahead as well…the skiing/riding conditions are excellent, and we expect that trend to continue as we roll along here in January.
Just want to give another huge shoutout to our entire staff for the solid efforts—from the parking lot crew, tickets, rental, mountain sports school, lift operations, ski patrol, food & beverage, maintenance and mountain ops–thank you all for the excellent efforts throughout the mountain.
Grab your crew and travel safely out there this morning. Currently, all roads around the region and into the ski area are open. For road conditions and updates, please visit the WYDOT website, or call 1-888-996-7623.
RENTAL EQUIPMENT – Please note as we are wrapping up this holiday weekend and looking forward to additional upcoming weekends, we do anticipate many guests visiting the mountain. For those needing ski or snowboard rental equipment, please make certain to make those online rental equipment reservations as quickly as possible to ensure you have equipment reserved for your snow day. Due to heavy volumes, we cannot guarantee to have your exact or desired size of boots, skis or boards without a reservation. If you do not have a rental reservation here at the ski area, please plan to arrive early to obtain rental gear. Again — Advanced, On-Line Rental & Ticket Reservations are Always Highly Encouraged & Recommended, and thank you for your understanding on this matter.
We will see you on the slopes soon!
