5am Update: Happy Tuesday! We are in a very nice stretch of winter here at Snowy Range…the snow conditions have been excellent, and this trend continues with flurries and snow showers expected throughout much of the week, and perhaps another significant winter storm coming through by late this week through early next–stay tuned and we’ll update as all unfolds, but you will definitely want to make sure you and your crew are making the most out of these amazing snow days!
Forecasts today project cloudy skies early, followed by partial clearing. A few flurries or snow showers are possible today with a high around 17. Tonight calls for mostly cloudy skies with a few snow showers developing late. Wednesday appears to be mostly cloudy, highs in the low teens and snow showers developing later in the day. And then as we move into late-Thursday and early-Friday, the snowfall looks to settle in with potentially many inches projected through early-Tuesday.
The ski area is officially 100% open with all slopes and terrain parks available. Please remember to SMART STYLE all activities in the parks and utilize YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODE throughout the slopes. Please visit the Trails Report page for a list of our available terrain.
Currently, all roads around the region and into the ski area are open. For road conditions and updates, please visit the WYDOT website, or call 1-888-996-7623.
As mentioned previously, and worth another mention here, a HUGE shoutout to our entire staff for the many solid efforts—from the parking lot crew, ticket staff, rental personnel, mountain sports school instructors, lift operators, ski patrollers, food & beverage crew, maintenance and mountain ops–thank you all for the excellent efforts here as part of Team Snowy! We are still looking for a few good guys and gals to join the team, so please stop by the ticket/info office or submit an application via the website.
ADVANCED, ON-LINE RENTAL EQUIPMENT RESERVATIONS – Please note as we look forward to additional upcoming weekends, we do anticipate many guests visiting the mountain and many of those guests will be renting equipment. For those needing ski or snowboard rental equipment, please make certain to make those online rental equipment reservations as quickly as possible to ensure you have equipment reserved for your snow day. Due to heavy volumes, we cannot guarantee to have your exact or desired size of boots, skis or boards without a reservation. If you do not have a rental reservation here at the ski area, please plan to arrive as early as possible in the day to obtain rental gear. Again — Advanced, On-Line Rental & Ticket Reservations are Always Highly Encouraged & Recommended, and thank you for your understanding on this matter.
We will see you on the slopes soon!
