Snow Report – Friday, February 17, 2023

5:00am Update: Happy Friday! What an awesome day on the slopes here yesterday with tons of sunshine and lots of prime packed powder conditions throughout the mountain. Those fresh flakes a couple days were a welcome addition to the snow surface, looks like many more inches are headed this way beginning late-Saturday. Forecasts for today predict plenty of sunshine with gusty winds developing this afternoon and a high of 28. Hope you can make it up to enjoy another quality snow day here at The Range .

Looking ahead, we are definitely watching this incoming winter storm system which looks to roll in by late-Saturday and remains throughout much of next week. All looks quite favorable for significant snowfall with multiple inches each day and potentially double-digit totals once this system moves out. Stay tuned and keep doing those snow dances. Make plans NOW, and get those upcoming weekend & spring break reservations booked. Rally the crew, and we hope to see you on the slopes soon!

The ski area is officially 100% open with all slopes and terrain parks available. Please remember to SMART STYLE all activities in the parks and utilize YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODE throughout the slopes. Please note that RESPECT GETS RESPECT here at The Range, and those expectations of conduct apply to all guests at all times. Please visit the Trails Report page for a list of our available lifts and terrain as well as daily grooming updates. All roads around the region and into the ski area are open. For updates on road conditions, please visit the WYDOT website, or call 1-888-996-7623.

ADVANCED, ON-LINE TICKET & RENTAL EQUIPMENT RESERVATIONS – Please note as we look forward to additional upcoming weekends, we do anticipate many guests visiting the mountain and many of those guests will be renting equipment. For those needing ski or snowboard rental equipment, please make certain to make those online rental equipment reservations as quickly as possible to ensure you have equipment reserved for your snow day. Due to heavy volumes, we cannot guarantee to have your exact or desired size of boots, skis or boards without a reservation. If you do not have a rental reservation here at the ski area, please plan to arrive as early as possible in the day to obtain rental gear or consider renting equipment at one of the ski/snowboard shops around the region. Again — Advanced, On-Line Rental & Ticket Reservations are Always Highly Encouraged & Recommended, and thank you for your understanding on this matter.
