Snow Report – Friday, January 13, 2023

5am Update: Happy Friday, and welcome to the weekend. With over 7″ of snow these past few days, the mountain has had a solid refresh and conditions are excellent…expect some awesome snow days ahead, and looks like another round of snow chances comes our way by Sunday!

Forecasts today project a mix of sun and clouds with highs around 36. Saturday looks to be a bit breezy with a mix of clouds and sun, and highs in the mid 30’s — Sunday shows mostly cloudy skies with chances of snow and highs around 30 — and back to sunshine for Monday with highs in the low/mid 20’s. Make plans now as we are pretty sure you need a SNOW DAY!

Please note that we are entering a holiday weekend, and anticipate many guests visiting the mountain. Please make those online rental equipment reservations as quickly as possible to ensure you have equipment reserved for your snow day. Due to heavy volumes, we cannot guarantee to have your exact or desired size of boots, skis or boards without a reservation. Please consider renting at a regional shop if you do not have a reservation here at the ski area, or at the minimum, arrive to the mountain as early as possible this coming Saturday, Sunday and Monday to obtain rental gear.

Please travel safely out there this morning. Currently, all roads around the region and into the ski area are open. For road conditions and updates, please visit the WYDOT website, or call 1-888-996-7623

We are quite thankful for the nearly 3 FEET of snowfall since Christmas, and the mountain is skiing very nicely. The ski area is officially 100% open with all slopes and terrain parks available. Please remember to SMART STYLE all activities in the parks and utilize YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODE throughout the slopes. Please visit the Trails Report page for a list of our available terrain.

Grab your crew and travel safely out there — we’ll see you on the slopes.
