Snow Report – Monday, January 2, 2023

5am Update: Another inch of snow overnight brings our 72 hour total to 15″! Expect a sweet day of snow fun here on the mountain this first Monday of 2023. It has been a wonderful stretch here these past few days with this winter storm providing some amazing snowfall. Forecasts today predict snow showers early with a steadier snow developing later in the day. Highs should top out around 19 with 1″-3″ of new snow expected. Definitely a big time SNOW DAY…hope you can join us. All roads are open at this time, so please travel safely on your way up to the mountain today.

We did experience a power outage yesterday around noon which caused an interruption in our operational plans. The power was restored by Carbon Power & Light, and we are good to go here today for another snow day. Thanks for the understanding and patience yesterday, and a huge well done to our operations, maintenance and patrol teams for their solid efforts.

The ski area is officially 100% open with all slopes available, plus both terrain parks are readied. Please remember to SMART STYLE all activities in the parks and utilize YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODE throughout the slopes. Please visit the Trails Report page for a list of our available terrain.

Grab the crew, make your online reservations and as always, travel safely out there. Thank you all for your continued patronage of Snowy Range Ski Area, and we will see you on the slopes.
