Snow Report – Saturday, January 21, 2023

5am Update: Welcome to the weekend, and what a wonderful week of snow we have had here at Snowy! With over a FOOT of snow this past week, the skiing & riding conditions are simply awesome and definitely some of the best we have had this entire season. Expect quite a bit of machine groomed packed powder to its finest out there as a full mountain groom was performed last night, yet still some sweet packed powder along with powder stashes to be had as well. Definitely a chilly start here this morning with clear skies and temps in the single digits, and most forecasts show a chance of a few flurries as the morning moves along with highs around 15 and then a mix of clouds/sun for the afternoon hours. Sunday should bring a mix of sun/clouds as well with flurries back in the mix by the afternoon hours with highs around 22, and then more significant snow chances Sunday night. We are shaping up for a great weekend and beyond here on the mountain, so, grab your crew and travel safely out there this morning.

The ski area is officially 100% open with all slopes and terrain parks available. Please remember to SMART STYLE all activities in the parks and utilize YOUR RESPONSIBILITY CODE throughout the slopes. Please visit the Trails Report page for a list of our available terrain.

Currently, all roads around the region and into the ski area are open. For road conditions and updates, please visit the WYDOT website, or call 1-888-996-7623.

Just want to give another huge shoutout to our entire staff for the solid efforts—from the parking lot crew, tickets, rental, mountain sports school, lift operations, ski patrol, food & beverage, maintenance and mountain ops–thank you all for the excellent efforts here as part of Team Snowy! We are still looking for a few good guys and gals to join the team, so please stop by the ticket/info office or submit an application via the website.

ADVANCED, ON-LINE RENTAL EQUIPMENT RESERVATIONS – Please note as we look forward to additional upcoming weekends, we do anticipate many guests visiting the mountain and many of those guests will be renting equipment. For those needing ski or snowboard rental equipment, please make certain to make those online rental equipment reservations as quickly as possible to ensure you have equipment reserved for your snow day. Due to heavy volumes, we cannot guarantee to have your exact or desired size of boots, skis or boards without a reservation. If you do not have a rental reservation here at the ski area, please plan to arrive as early as possible in the day to obtain rental gear. Again — Advanced, On-Line Rental & Ticket Reservations are Always Highly Encouraged & Recommended, and thank you for your understanding on this matter.

We will see you on the slopes soon!
