Snow Report – Wednesday, February 22, 2023

4:00pm Update: What an awesome snow day here at The Range – over a FOOT of snowfall here these past 24 hours! That brings us to nearly 2 FEET of total accumulations with the recent winter storm over the last four days, plus chances for a few more flakes tonight, Thursday and Friday – hope to see you out to enjoy the wonderful conditions here soon!

5:00am Update: Hello Powder Wednesday! We’ve received a solid 6″ of NEW snow overnight, and the flakes are still falling. Most forecasts project another 3″-5″ here throughout the day, so looks to be one of those fresh tracks all day long here at The Range! Currently, we have temps in the mid teens and these are expected to fall back into the single digits by the afternoon hours – plus, the winds have subsided significantly and only light breezes if any today – so, grab the extra layer as we are looking at a big-time snow day here on the mountain and hopes are you can join us!

The current winter storm has dropped nearly 18″ here on the mountain these past many days, and conditions here are most excellent. Stay tuned and keep doing those snow dances. Make plans NOW, and get those upcoming weekend & spring break reservations booked. Rally the crew, and we hope to see you on the slopes soon!

Currently, the majority of roads around the region and into the ski area are open, however there are some closures and restrictions on I-80. Please be safe in your travels, and allow some extra time today with the winter weather events and gusty winds.
