No experience is necessary. Must be willing to work in changing weather conditions. Some tasks may be physically demanding and require snowmobile use.

Requirements:
- Minimum: NOLS WFR Certification
- Minimum: CPR Certification (*for professional rescuer)
- Preferred: NSP OEC Certification
- Preferred: EMT or higher license

SEASONAL FT
Summary:
Oversee lift operations efforts and on mountain activities, which broadly includes, maintaining records and documentation, scheduling, assisting with daily operations, on the mountain maintenance, event setup, and guest relations for Snowy Range Ski Area.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure customer needs are met in an accurate and timely manner with a friendly attitude and a welcoming smile!
- Hire, schedule, and train employees, ensuring proper coverage as guest volume dictates.
- Maintain proper, professional and timely communication with customers and staff.
- Perform additional duties and communicate with other departments across all areas of the Ski Area to create a seamless guest experience. Cross train staff in different areas of on the mountain operations.
- Schedule, train, and supervise lift operations staff.
- Ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable environment to recreate.
- Adhere to the handbook and be responsible for enforcement of Snowy Range Policy and Procedures.
- Work closely with the Ticket Office and Mountain Sports in support of groups, events, and other activities.
- Cleanliness & organization of the lift operations areas
- Ability to make it reliably to work in all weather, all winter long.
Preferred Skills (Included, but not limited to the following)
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Problem solving ability
- Previous management experience.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to work in multiple software programs.
- Strong guest service skills, with the ability to make decisions independently for the guest.

- Continuously maintain the conditions of lift mazes, loading and unloading platforms
- Work positively with all resort staff and guests

- Set up and removal of safety fences and lift mazes
- Checking lift passes
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Complete all daily lift paperwork
No experience is required, we provide training.

- Ensuring that guests are being helped quickly and efficiently
- Keeping an organized flow for guests in lines
- Cleaning and communicating needs within the lodge
Duties of the Head Coach:
- Embrace the club mission and encourage the vitality of the ski club.
- Foster a safe, positive and fun environment for club athletes of all abilities.
- Promote a culture that is inclusive of all participants and their families.
- Communication with athletes and parents, coaches, ski area staff, and other clubs.
- Ensure communication of scheduled events to club members.
- Ensure that coaches are communicating race day and training information to athletes
and parents with sufficient time to prepare. - Ensure that racer entry information is submitted to other clubs in a timely manner.
- Hiring, supervision, and support of coaching staff.
- Actively seek feedback from coaches and provide ongoing feedback to coaches.
- Conduct end-of-season performance reviews of coaches, and plan for coaching staff
needs from season to season. - Ensure coaching staff certifications and requirements are current
- Coaching
- Perform an active coaching role on the hill, potentially as a lead coach for an age
group, depending on availability and distribution of other coaches. - Provide interactive instruction, drills, and guidance for racers as a group and on an
individual basis. - Attend races to represent and support Team Snowy’s racers.
- Perform an active coaching role on the hill, potentially as a lead coach for an age
- Oversight of training activities.
- Implement each day’s training activities.
- Ensure coordination with Ski Area Manager on assignment of training lanes and B-
netting installation, with help of ski club volunteers. - Ensure that training courses are set prior to racers arriving at the hill.
- Oversee proper care and storage of training equipment, and work with the Ski Area to
inventory and order equipment as needed. - Organize and attend fall dryland training events.
- Work with club coaches to facilitate access to summer and fall ski camp opportunities.
- Ensure coordination of off-site winter training opportunities.
- Oversight of club-hosted activities.
- Help to organize and coordinate Club-hosted races held by Team Snowy.
- Order awards and ensure timely presentation of awards after races.
- Participate as a race official as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience
- Previous alpine racing experience
- USSA Referee level 1 certification, pass a comprehensive background check, or willingness to attain certification
- Ability to set courses for training and racing
- Physically able to handle the demands of the job- carrying gate bundles, standing on snow in varying winter weather conditions, etc.
